Preston B is 3 months old!

Another month has passed us by and Preston is 3 months old! This post is a little behind because little man has been under the weather.  He was diagnosed with RSV about a week ago and it has hit him hard.  We have been doing breathing treatments at home which has improved his breathing status and he is no longer wheezing or retracting, but his appetite has taken a turn and he does not want any formula.  We are encouraging small doses and supplementing with Pedialyte.  We are going on day 8 and hoping we are over the worst of it.  He saw the pediatrician today and he has lost some weight but is holding. Prayers for his appetite to return and quick recovery.

He is becoming such a big guy.  Brad and I have been enjoying this little gem each day.  He is becoming more interactive everyday and we love watching him grow and learn.  He continues to sleep well through the night and gives mommy and daddy some much needed sleep.  He is becoming quite the talker and babbles all day long! :) It is wonderful to hear his sweet voice.

3 Month well baby visit:

Weight: 14 lbs, 7 ounces (decreased to 13 lbs, 13 ounces today)

Length: 25 inches

Favorite Activity: Laying in his play gym and watching Mr. Sun light up

Favorite Movie: Happy Feet

Favorite thing to do when awake: Sit up and look around; have mom carry him around the house and see our sweet home.

Favorite thing to do when sleep: Talk to Globee (his night light) before drifting off to sleep

Favorite place to lay: Play gym; we are working on sitting up in the bumbo, although his legs are a little chubby for it; he is enjoying tummy time much more!

This was the first time he wore shoes from Aunt Jenn.. Converse baby!

Preston was a great sport and let me paint a mustache on him.  Mom had to work the Bazaar and daddy's squadron's booth was face painting.  He wanted to support daddy! :) Don't worry, the mustache rubbed off 10 minutes later on his paci.

Tummy time wears him out apparently!

He's already learning how to smooth over the ladies!

Preston wanted to wish Aunt Jenn a happy birthday.  He was babbling away. 

This next month will bring lots of outdoor fun.  We are going to Prague at the end of the month then will be preparing to come back to the United States in June.  We couldn't be more excited to come home and see our friends and family! See you soon!
