Preston is 6 months old!

I can't believe this little man is already a 1/2 year old!! The time has flown by and he is so much fun.  Our mini vaca came to an end and we left Oklahoma at the end of July. Brad had already returned so mama got to do an overseas flight alone with little P.  He was a trooper and did excellent.  I was the hot mess.  We took an evening flight and flew out of Chicago at 10pm.  Preston slept the whole flight except the last hour when I woke him to feed and change him.  I was fortunate enough to have a bassinet to lay him in and I was able to sleep a few hours myself.  The airport was a big challenge, between pushing the stroller and luggage but we managed.  The shuttle brought me back to base and I was greeted by one of my closest friends.  She helped us get settled in for our first night back.  Coming back to Germany was difficult especially since Brad had already deployed, but I was welcomed back by a wonderful group of spouses!!  Single parent ops is challenging but I feel I have been truly bless with a wonderful baby who is trying to make it as easy as possible on me. :) Preston did excellent transitioning as well and was able to get back on his sleep schedule in 3 days. It definitely took mommy longer.  

It has been warm here as well, and without air conditioning making it a little steamy in the house. We have had to sleep downstairs a few nights and invested in fans. :)  We are hoping the 90 degree temperatures are finished soon!!

Favorite Movie: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (Yes, we still love this show)

Favorite thing to do when awake: Play with Slade & Sooner (since we have been at my mom's house) & Eat!!

Favorite Activity: Playing in the exer-saucer and drive the toy car~
